Diaverum Spain inaugurated the new Baix Llobregat Clinic last Friday, June 17, in l'Hospitalet, with the assistance of the Hon. Mrs. Núria Marín, mayor of l’Hospitalet and Mrs. Gemma Valeta, manager of l’Àmbit Metropolitana Sud. Regió Sanitària Barcelona
The all-new Baix Llobregat Dialysis Clinic occupies a whole building of 4,300 m2. It is comprised of with 4 general dialysis rooms, plus an isolation room, and is equipped with modern & functional facilities. In total, 50 healthcare professionals will provide care for up to 240 patients across 6 shifts.

With the relocation of the Baix Llobregat Clinic to this new facilities, Diaverum consolidates its presence in the region with 9 clinics treating 1.200 renal patients, being one of the most important regions for the Diaverum. It operates under a contract with CatSalut and covers approximately 523,200 inhabitants, from the Baix Llobregat Centre-Litoral health sector of the South Metropolitan Area, covering 24 basic areas of Health, and 13 municipalities.
Its referral hospitals are the Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge and the Hospital de Sant Joan Despí Moisès Broggi. It is also a meeting point for Diaverum teams, thanks to the large meeting rooms on the top floor of the building, which are available to referral hospitals and patient associations.
